- Los ejercicios militares han sido un éxito, tanto con Haqquislam como con las fuerzas Niponas, -tras una pausa, continuó- pero es hora de pasar a dar soporte real. 

- Military exercises have been a success, with Haqquislam and with our Japanese partners, -after a short pause, he continued- but now is the time for the real support.

- ¿Para qué se me necesita entonces, capitán? 

-For what do you need me, captain?

Leila presentía que se acercaba la hora de salir del nodo y emprender una operación en territorio enemigo. 

Leila thought that the time for getting out of the node was coming, an operation in enemy territory was, certainly,  the next step.

-El ejército japonés se está viendo sometido por las fuerzas de Yu-Jing, necesitamos apoyarles-. El agente desplegó un mapa de la estación Kurage en el holo-proyector de la mesa. -Cómo puede observar, inteligencia a través del grupo de Zeros, ha logrado rastrear el movimiento de un escuadrón de tropas de Yu-Jing que se dirigen hacia la estación Kurage; además, el clima es perfecto para una emboscada. 

-The Japanese army has been under Yu-Jing pressure, we need to support them-. The agent showed a holographic map of the Kurage station. -As you can see, intelligence obtained through a Zero squad, exact information about a Yu-Jing squad that is going to attack the Kurage station; and the weather is perfect for an ambush.

-¿Quienes formaran su equipo?

-Who will be in my team?

-Ya tenemos el equipo, solamente necesitamos que usted se presente a dirigir la operación, -tras una pausa el agente volteó a ver a Leila- esperamos grandes cosas de usted, Teniente Sharapova.

-We already have the team, we only need you to lead the operation, -after a short pause the agent turned to see Leila's face- we expect great things from you , Lt. Sharapova.

-¿Qué información tenemos del enemigo? -inquirió Leila.

-What other information do we have from the enemy? -inquired Leila

-No mucha, pero parece ser un simple escuadrón de Yu-Jing.

-No more, just that it looks like a simple Yu-Jing squad.

-Entendido -dijo Leila. -Les daremos una buena sorpresa.

-Roger- said Leila. -Let's give them a surprise.

Leila le mostró el comunicado oficial de prensa emitido por el Alto Concejo Nómada a Juan:

Leila showed the Official Press Release from the High Nomad Council for the Kurage Crisis to Juan:

"Hemos detectado actividades hostiles de parte de Ariadna y Aleph, además de una tangible amenaza por parte del Ejército Combinado, por lo que el reciente formado Alto Concejo Nómada para esta "Crisis Kurage", ha comenzado oficialmente ejercicios de entrenamiento militares con nuestros hermanos Haqquislamitas y con nuestros aliados japoneses que han demostrado ser dignos de nuestra confianza, con el objetivo de mantener a nuestras tropas estacionadas en Novyy Cimmeria el mejor nivel posible, además de mostrar la fuerza que no escatimaremos en usar contra cualquier enemigo que trate de atacar a nosotros o cualquiera de nuestros aliados".

"As we have detected hostile activities from Ariadna and Aleph, and a real threat from the Combined Army so, the recently created High Nomad Council for this "Kurage Crisis", has officially started military training exercises with our Haqquislam brothers and our Japanese trustworthy allies, in order to maintain in an optimal level and performance our stationed troops at Novyy Cimmeria and show the force that we will not doubt to show to any enemy that try to attack us or our allies."

-¿No me digas que te escogieron para los ejercicios?

-Don't tell me that you were chosen for the military exercises?

-Así es, -contestó Leila- mañana tengo un par de ejercicios con tropas japonesas y después con tropas haqquislamitas.

-Yes, -answered Leila- tomorrow I have a couple of exercises with japanese troops and after that, with Haqquislam.

-Al menos tendremos apoyo aquí... -dijo Juan,-mientras nos preparamos para tomar alguna acción ofensiva contra los responsables. 

-At least we are going to have support here... -said Juan- while we prepare an offensive against our enemies.

-Oye Ojos Verdes, ¿Es verdad lo que están publicando en los foros?

-Hey, green eyes, It's true what they're talking at the forums?

Leila miró al frente y vio a Juan parado frente a ella. Estaban en uno de los comedores de la base J-5, casi no había gente al rededor. Juan no traía puesto su clásico casco de Intruder, solamente su uniforme con protección reglamentaria, algo normal en los nómadas pues viviendo en el espacio, siempre tienes que estar listo.

Leila looked in front of her and saw Juan standing there. They were at one of the dining halls at J-5. Juan was not wearing his classic Intruder helmet, only the typical uniform with its protections, something very normal between the nomads. Living in the space, makes you be always ready. 

-¿Tú que crees Juan?

-What do you think, Juan?

Leila era una chica salvaje, quizás por eso se había ajustado a los escuadrones de Wildcats. Conocía a Juan gracias a Rodriguez, quien fuese su mentor en el escuadrón. Tez blanca, cabello negro chino, cuerpo delgado pero fuerte, curvas firmes (no eran prominentes pero tampoco eran pequeñas) y unos ojos verdes, de un "verde inolvidable" le había dicho alguna vez uno de sus amores pasados.

Leila was a savage girl, maybe that's why she fitted in the Wildcats Squadron. She knew Juan thanks to Rodriguez, who was his mentor when she entered the Wildcats. White skin, black wavy hair, thin but strong body, firm curves (not big ones but not small ones too),  and green eyes,  "unforgetable green eyes", as one lover from her past used to say. 

-Pues creo que casi te patean el culo.

-Well, I think that your ass was almost kicked.

Leila sonrió y le soltó un golpe directo al estómago a Juan.

Leila smiled and then punched Juan directly to the stomach. 

-El cabrón de Mame, ese que recomendaste, se metió demasiado entre la posición enemiga y el puto clima -soltó una mentada al aire- jodió el sistema de uno de nuestros Hellcats, por suerte su casco le salvó lo que pudo haber sido una muerte definitiva.

-El cabrón de Mame, the one you recommended, moved too close to the enemy position and the fucking weather, ruined one of the navigation systems of our Hellcats, luckily the bastard's helmet saved him from a real death. 

-Esto se está complicando.

-This is getting complicated.

-Pero bueno, lo bueno es que parece que tenemos buenas noticias, -le dijo Leila- noticias "Kawaii".

-Well, at least we have some good news, -Leila said- "Kawaii news".

-Ya despertó el cabrón ese.

-That bastard already wake up.

El mensaje a través de su Comm-log provenía de la Tomcat Alina, la segunda oficial de Juan. Hacía referencia al buen amigo de ambos, "el ferras", el jaguar que siempre acompañaba a Juan en sus misiones.

The message through his Comm-log was from Tomcat Alina, Juan's second officer. She was talking about their mutual friend, "El Ferras", a jaguar that almost always is with them. 

Juan caminó hacia la enfermería y justo cuando abrió la puerta se escuchó una fuerte cachetada.

Juan walked to the Infirmary and just when he opened the door, he heard the sound of a big slap.

-Pero si es para recuperarme más rápido preciosa...-

-But it's just for healing faster, preciosa...-

La voz era sin duda de su amigo, la Daktari a cargo le soltó una cachetada por haberle parado la trompita para recibir un beso de sanación. Juan caminó hacia delante y Ferras le reconoció.

The voice was his friend's voice, the Daktari in charge slaped him just after he put a "kiss-face", asking for a "healing" kiss. Juan walked in and "el Ferras" saluted him.

-Parece que te debo una de nuevo, cabrón...-

-It seems like I'm in dobut with you, cabrón...-

-Estamos más que a mano, mi buen pero- miró a la Daktari, una chica morena con el típico uniforme nómada, cabello rojo azabache, nariz pequeña pero mirada profunda, -sería buena idea que no trajeras problemas al personal médico. 

-We're more than even, my friend- he looked at the Dak, a brunette girl with the classic Daks uniform, red azabache hair, small nouse but with deep eyes, -but it could be nice if you do not bring problems to our medical staff.

El ferras se rió estrepitosamente, -Si solo era un besito... - dijo.

El ferras laughed loudly, -I was just asking for a kiss...-he said. 

-¿Qué pasó ahí Ferras?

-What happened there, Ferras?

La mirada de Juan era serie y firme.

Juan's look was deep and strong.

-Tengo los recuerdos frescos Juan, la voluntaria tenía unas piernotas... y una suerte endiablada.

-I have fresh memories Juan, that volunteer had a big pair of legs... and the devil's luck.

-Al menos te chingaste al franchute y al Kazako. Juan guardó un poco de silencio y después continuó. -Tuvimos que retroceder pero los ariadnos no siguieron avanzando. al parecer fueron detenidos más adelante por el confiable W1ggs.

-At least you kill the Chasseur and the Kazak. Juan waited a little and after a small silence he continued. -We had to fall back but the ariadnans didn't push, they were stopped by the trustworthy W1ggs.

-Menos mal... -suspiró "El Ferras"- ¿Esto está escalando como el año pasado, verdad?

-At least...-said "El Ferras"- It's turning into the same hell from a year ago, right?

-Así es y tal como dices, -le dijo Juan mientras ponía una mano en su hombro y se daba la espalda- habrá que beberla o derramarla....

-Yes it is...-answered Juan to him as he put his hand into his shoulder before turning back and walking to the exit- and as you say, we have to drink it or drop it...
